The BC 1/4 Pink Pavlova Flower 7G is named after dessert, but apparently nobody told it desserts are supposed to behave politely. Pink Pavlova crosses Pink Cookies x Strawberry Pavé to create an indica-dominant cultivar that's syrupy, creamy, gassy and just peppery enough to keep the whole bakery from getting too comfortable.

The flavour starts with a rich berry compote character, bringing plenty of sweet, jammy fruit before the profile gets considerably more interesting. Gas, cake crust, smooth cream and crushed pepper all pile in behind it, creating the sort of dessert-inspired combination that sounds like a pastry chef and a gas station attendant accidentally collaborated on the same recipe.

Then there are the buds. Pink Pavlova produces sticky flower with sparkling green and violet hues, giving this 7g quarter-ounce plenty of visual personality to match its flavour. Between the colourful flower and dessert-heavy profile, subtlety was clearly not included in the breeding program.

The genetics make plenty of sense once you meet the flavour. Basically, Pink Pavlova walked into a bakery, ordered berry compote and cream, added cake, sprinkled pepper over everything and then parked a muscle car beside the kitchen. Is that how dessert normally works? No. Are we interested? Extremely.
